Automotive Repair in Chico, CA

I’ve used Superior Auto for 2 years now. Just had my Jeep in for a way overdue oil change. As expected, there is more work to be done, but I did not feel pressured into doing any of it that same day. This shop understands having to take time to be able to be fiscally responsible yet still keep your vehicle in the best shape possible! Follow up-Again: Had an oil change in June. Was told I would need tires on my Jeep by the next season change. I knew that, so they are completely accurate! Today, I emailed asking if they could recommend a tire shop to me, and within minutes Gilbert was calling me with a recommendation! I honestly love this shop. The service writers are great! Follow-up: visit 2 in February 2020, for a second oil change, rear diff, and tire and brake check....I can honestly say...as a single woman that knows just enough about her Jeep to be dangerous...I love Superior Auto. Dealt with Bill this time around, and honestly, this place just keeps getting better with each visit. I don’t feel like they try to up sell services and are always doing what is best for their customer. I used Superior Auto Clinic for an oil change on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. I immediately felt comfortable from my first phone call, to dropping my Jeep off and meeting Gilbert, to pick up! It's never easy being a woman taking vehicles in for service, but at Superior auto, I never once felt like they were trying to deceive me, or talk me into service that wasn't really necessary. The one thing I wish, was that they used Mobile 1 Synthetic. But I did not ask if I could bring my own oil in. Both service writers were great! I dealt with both, one at drop off, one at pick up. I will definitely continue to use Superior Auto. I'm glad I took the chance!

The staff was very friendly and had a great waiting room. They offer coffee for their customers and comfy chairs. I made an appointment two days in advance and was accommodated with an early appointment. The shop was already busy when I got there but the manager was very attentive to me once I went into the office. They serviced my vehicle in a timely fashion and gave my car a general health check. They were wonderful and honoured my mailer coupon. I will definitely go back the next time my vehicle needs servicing.

Clean shop with experienced mechanics. Plus Howie has a smokin hot mustache.

Gilbert at the front desk is very friendly and good at what he does. The rest of the men who work there have fixed my Suburban twice now for non related issues and both times they have done good.

I am a woman and know that when I go to a mechanic I have a Target on my forehead, and a sign on my back that says "kick me". So knowing this I had my new car (after a showdown with a deer) towed to Superior Auto Clinic because it was a AAA recommended mechanic shop. The Service Advisor Mr. Gilbert Hernandez quoted me a job topping $2000 but it would be done the Tuesday after the 4thof July. When he called me to say it was ready (on time) the price was amended to $800 plus dollars and I was stunned. It wasn't as bad as it first appeared. I have NEVER had this happen before. To be sure, he could have made me pay the larger bill and I may never have been the wiser. The shop is clean, busy and very efficient. Also professional and HONEST!! Thank you Superior Auto Clinic with all my heart.
